Within the walls of Blue Boy Inn, we have cultivated lush tropical gardens by hand, using the local flora and fauna as our decoration. The warm and sunny tropical climate in Rincon Puerto Rico lends itself well to growing fruit trees, beautiful flowers and vines. We have carefully selected trees, bushes and flowers that will create a cool and calming atmosphere and many of our guests find that relaxing in our gardens with a book is the highlight of their vacation. Stroll the grounds and pick fresh pomegranate, acerola, starfruit, grapes and more ~ or just smell the scent of the beautiful hibiscus and birds of paradise. The gardens of Blue Boy surround and wind amongst our multiple patio areas, our famous pool, firepit, hot tub and terrace.

The Pool

The pool at Blue Boy is one of the highlights of our private oasis. We have tried to create a world that feels completely private from the outside world, filled with calm and peace. The pool area gives our guests a place to cool off in the sun and is accented by multiple fountains, Grecian-style columns, underwater bar stools and calming waterfalls. Surrounding the pool are our lush gardens, lounge chairs with umbrellas, hammocks, patio tables and plenty of shade. We also have a true hot tub for warming up after a day in the ocean. At night, the pool area is professionally lit to give a romantic and classic air to the grounds and small twinkle lights accent the rest of the garden areas. There is a firepit surrounded by a built in bench, great for an evening chatting with friends under the stars.

The Terrace & Wine Bar

Our grounds include multiple common areas for dining and relaxing. Our covered terrace has a table which can seat up to 10 guests comfortably, as well as an outdoor freezer and refrigerator. The terrace may be used by any guest or reserved for special events or occasions. New in the fall of 2011, we added a covered wine bar and patio with stand-up bar, patio furniture and mini-fridge. Guests can help themselves to the selection of wine and liquor at the bar on an honor system. Throughout the property are several patio areas with tables for lunch or dinner, as well as a BBQ grill, large patio table and firepit.

Gourmet Breakfast

If you read any of the reviews of our inn, there’s one trend that will start to stand out: Marc’s famous french toast! (and crepes). Each morning, inn Owner Marc Tremblay prepares a hot breakfast for guests which includes an alternating selection of vegetable omelets, scrambled eggs, stuffed crepes, potatoes with bacon and sausage or his famous French Toast. In addition, there is a full continental selection of croissants, fresh baked bread, bagels, yogurt, cold cereals, granola, cold sliced meats and cheeses, tropical fruits, coffee, tea, juices and jams.The breakfast at Blue Boy Inn is only open to guests of the property and has become part of what makes this property so special. Marc puts a personal touch on the service each morning and our guests leave feeling satisfied and happy.

The Animals

Adding a touch of whimsy to the grounds of Blue Boy Inn are our unique and plentiful animal friends. From colorful pheasants to cute (but not so cuddly) miniature crocodiles, the gardens surrounding the Blue Boy are filled with nature. Guests are sure to be welcomed by our friendly and oh-so-lazy caretaker, our gato ‘Paco’ (that is if he’s not too busy snoozing in the shade under a palm tree). The cool, green gardens encourage local coqui frogs and toads to roost and the unique fountains and pools are home to tortoises and turtles.

Our rooms continue with the mixture of classic and Caribbean that is the hallmark of the Blue Boy Inn. They are decorated in a bright, clean, modern style with real wood touches and hand tiling that make each room unique. The rooms bring a sense of the tropics while still remaining comfortable and serene. Each room has a queen size bed and flat screen television with cable TV, dresser, mirror, ceiling fans, a private bath with shower, air conditioning and seating areas. Every room at Blue Boy has a private entrance, accessible from the interior grounds of the property, which are locked and gated. All rooms have the added personal touch of daily housekeeping and fresh flowers as well as a private patio area with outdoor furniture.
